We are a labor of love, not a business. offroading.info was not intended as an income stream; it is a non-commercial educational site intended for beginning offroaders. There are no sign ups, no memberships, no subscriptions, no paid endorsements nor advertising, no sales carts. Just relax, enjoy, and learn about offroading & Jeeping.

Are you an offroading club or group? Can we join or subscribe?
No, we do not compete with any Jeep club or offroading group. You are encouraged to join and support your local offroading clubs, and we are happy to list clubs and groups in our Directory (at no charge). We do not host trail runs or events, although sometimes we are invited by existing organizations to help teach offroading basics.

Do you accept articles from independent writers? How do I submit an item or link for publication?
offroading.info is always looking for quality content. Drop us a line using our Contact Us form, and we will get back to you. Because of the spam-bots, we do not openly publish our direct emails or phone numbers.

You say you are non-commercial, but sometimes we see mentions or endorsements for specific companies.
As we have stated before, we do not receive monetary compensation for plugging a specific company or product. But it would be difficult to provide examples or suggestions to new members of our community without including the “standards of our industry” and often mentioning them by name. We welcome press releases, product announcements, and general news from any of the major suppliers.

The current focus of offroading.info is directed at beginners. Do you plan on expanding into more advanced areas of interest?
Yes. Our initial launch covers basics, but our site is continually growing. We hope to add sections about Overlanding and Difficult/Extreme Offroading. Also, we are working on articles covering other navigation software, such as GAIA and Trails Offroad.

This is a great concept… a free website for offroaders to share knowledge. How can we help offroading.info to grow?
The best way to help us expand is to spread the word about our site to as many people and groups as possible. We are always looking for new articles and would love to hear from writers.
