Jeep windshields are notorious for getting easily cracked. Because of their steep, nearly vertical angle — road debris and stones tend to impact hard rather than deflect. We are actually lost two windshields during the first couple of years that we owned our Jeep!

The film is actually three layers of films, originally intended to be peeled off by the pit crews during races. After a few years, I am still on my second layer, and Vince is still on his first layer.
However, the product has creeped up in price, so I would not categorize it as inexpensive. Depending on who does the installation (let a professional install it), that also adds to the bill. But compared to the inconvenience and physical price of a replacement glass windshield, it is well worth the investment.”
